## Parameters

- `request` (`HookRequest`): Which hook to read.
- `cancellationToken` (`CancellationToken`): Cancels the tmux command.

## Returns

The hook, or null when nothing is set for that name.

## Raises

- [`TmuxOptionException`](/en/csharp/latest/reference/libtmux-tmuxoptionexception/): tmux rejected the hook name.
