Look up a specific tmux hook by name.

Description#

Returns a HookListResult with zero or more HookEntry rows — zero if the hook is unset, one if it is a scalar hook, and multiple if it is an array hook with sparse indices.

Parameters

hook_name (str) # – Hook to look up (e.g. "pane-exited").
scope (t.Literal["server", "session", "window", "pane"] | None) #
target (str | None) #
global_ (bool) #
socket_name (str | None) #

Returns

HookListResult One or more HookEntry rows, or empty if unset.
