environment : : Readonly<Record<string, string>> propertyreadonly [source] ¶ propertyreadonly [source] ¶ environment: Variables to set in the process this starts, tmux's -e.

Each pair goes as its own flag, so a value holding = arrives whole. This is the only scope that fits one process: setEnvironment writes the session's, which every later pane in it inherits too.
