`display-time`

Set the amount of time for which status line messages and other on-screen indicators are displayed.

Default: 750
Values: 0 to 2147483647 milliseconds
Set: set-option display-time value
Read: show-options display-time

Description#

Set the amount of time for which status line messages and other on-screen indicators are displayed. If set to 0, messages and indicators are displayed until a key is pressed. time is in milliseconds.
